I have seen this a few times, Norlin era. I don’t know if it’s a sticker or what on the back of the headstock that reads Authorized Instrument and what looks to be something with Japan. Where these made in USA for the Japanese market? Anybody know anything about these? I have only seen this with Les Pauls. Photos grabbed from the internet…

Sure looks like a sticker, but I have no idea what that’s about.
