Get a PushMeta thumb brace. Developed by a pianist. I can wear it on my fretting hand while playing. It’s the best thing after I get a scope. I developed left thumb joint issues after right hand surgery; 2 tendon transfers, carpal nerve release and ulnar nerve repair.

Thanks, I will check that brace out. Going to the doctor today, to see what's next. I tried to play a hollow body on Tuesday, for a few mins, until it got too sore. It will take time.
