Tough times for Analog Mike, and other local pedal manufacturers. I have a number of his pedals and they are really good and well designed.

If you need a pedal try and support him during these difficult times.

I hope he sticks it out until July. That's when I'm projected to come up on the King of Tone waitlist. Been on it since Sept 2019. I don't even really care so much for that style of overdrive but it'll be collectible.

His Boss Silver mod has been on my board with his Chorus for almost twenty years. His is the authority on cause and effect in guitar pedals.

Yeah a great reference

I wish I had a copy of this reference book! I have a few AnalogMan pedals now and have had a lot more in the past. They’re vocal, musical, usable, inspiring in a way that a lot of other pedals aren’t.
When Mike stops making pedals, it will be the end of an era of craftsmanship. Likewise with Holmes, DiMarzio, Duncan, BK Butler.

That's really sad to hear. He makes great pedals. I have a few of his modded TS9 Tube Screamers. Tariffs and the rising cost of electronics and all materials will cause a lot of small business to close down. I hope he can ride out the storm. 🤞🙏

I get where he's coming from. Increasing cost for materials, selling mainly KOT's, huge flood of cheap throwaway pedals with catchy names that aren't really good in the market nowadays.

You can't buy time. Don't let it slip away. Do what you want while you still can.

I just hope he doesn't sell out to somebody who will lower the quality of Analogman pedals.

Amen.

I like that he's selectively licensed and collaborated on things he can supervise and stand behind, like Chase Bliss and Dunlop-MXR. Maybe that's the way forward.

Yeah that Chase Bliss Brothers AM single channel nails my Prince of Tone. Cool.
The Rangemaster circuit makes it cut. That in combination with channel 1 and channel 2 is fantastic.
Many combinations makes this pedal very usable.
A++ for Chase Bliss Brothers AM.

Sad times. All the hate, taking, destroying, money for nothing and living off of other peoples backs is getting out of control. Costs are just going to keep going up the more we stack on.

I don't really understand the pedal market because I'm not part of the demographic, but it seems to have been oversaturated for many years now. It's sad to see any business go under. though.

Somewhere, I have a copy of that book I bought way back when.

Sorry to hear that. I don't have any of his pedals, but I almost feel like ordering one now. I almost bought a Sun Lion last year until I remembered I don't like fuzz very much. Maybe a Beano Boost instead? I've actually got a cheap DIY kit for a Rangemaster-style treble booster on the way, but I'm guessing his version is probably better in some ways.

The KoT Tracker says I am due for a shoulder tap in... April of 2030.

Whoops! :ROFLMAO:

Well, I already have the MXR Duke of Tone version; plus, pondering the Chase Bliss Brothers AM in the future.

I've got Chase Bliss AM.
With the Blackstone and Prince of tone, and It covers a lot. The Chase Bliss has the extra Ragemaster circuit. Nice.
