I finally got my hands on a set of Elmerinda PAFs for about $700. I had been hunting for them since 2016. They use vintage 60s magnets and Belden AWG42 magnet wire. I just finished comparing them with my Stephens Design and Wizz pickups and honestly they hold up really well. In some spots I actually prefer them. They have this incredible three dimensional clarity and bite that just makes you want to play. If you ever get the chance you really should check them out, you might be surprised.

I know this is an older post and I'm assuming you meant Ermelinda PAF's. I just picked up a set of these off Reverb and man am I impressed. What drew my attention to them was the covers, I thought they were real PAF's at first sight. I couldn't really find any info on them other than this post, then I found their Instagram page and there was one sound clip which was good enough for me to roll the dice and give them a try. Glad I did... I've had early PAT stickers, Mojo UK vintage wires, Throbak, Wizz, Lindy Fralin's and several others. These, in my opinion, are the best of them all. The only one close was one of the PAT stickers and I'd say these are just a bit better. The clarity, dynamics and bloom are all there. So pleased by them I'm getting ready to order another set directly from him in the next week or two.
