I want to purchase some Pickup Covers for my Les Paul Standard '50s Double Trouble.

My Title says it all!

I would prefer them to be OEM Gibson pu covers if possible, so do any of you know the parts numbers and where to purchase them?

I gotta ask. Why buy a double cream open coil LP when you wanted one with pickup covers?

What you have is the "holy grail" look of old Les Pauls.

Also note that when you add pickup covers you typically lose some clarity.

Pics of the guitar would be helpful.

Gibson nickel covers, as well as any all nickel covers (that I'm aware of) are very transparent. Any loss of clarity is pretty minimal and may not be noticeable, depending on various factors. Covers with brass or copper layers definitely kill more clarity and highs.

When I took the covers (nickel silver) off of my pickups there was a significant improvement in clarity.

Also, the reason why covers were removed in the first place back in the day was to improve clarity.

Just double check the spacing before ordering anything or you’ll end up rage returning parts all week lol. Gibson bridge spacing and neck spacing love being slightly annoying for no reason.
