According to a 1979 Guitar Player interview:

Waddy's current guitars include a '58 Les Paul sunburst. "It's the best guitar I've ever played," he says. "The neck is just as thin and wide as it can be. I bought it from Stephen Stills about ten years ago."

In the clip Waddy is playing his '60 burst, which he got in 1969 for $350. The '58 reference is likely an error.
