• Guys, we've spent considerable money converting the Les Paul Forum to this new XenForo platform, and we have ongoing monthly operating expenses. THE "DONATIONS" TAB IS NOW WORKING, AND WE WOULD APPRECIATE ANY DONATIONS YOU CAN MAKE TO KEEP THE LES PAUL FORUM GOING! Thank you!

Doug and Pat show is back with Joe B!

Great video thanks for posting

At 15:10 onwards they discuss a story about the guitar on the les Paul forum "where a guy got his feelings hurt as he was trying to buy it for 80k"

Does anyone have a link?

Many thanks

I remember the guitar now the Gibson logo was unmistakeable I don't want to muddy that water again so I will leave it there

Really great presentation and it is refreshing to see so much pride of ownership captured on video it really stirs my interest in vintage guitars again

Just watched -great stuff!! Love Doug and Pat and Joe is as great as ever.
The Victoria sounds awesome. Little surprised to hear Joe's comments re Marshalls though bearing in mind the amps he chooses to use.
Looking forward to the Firebird edition with Joe.

Sorry just listened again, he actually said "other than Marshalls I'm not really a British amp fan" ... or words to that effect. My mistake, bloody noise induced hearing loss!

Joe mentioned something about only keeping the guitars he was using regularly.
does that mean all of these are being used or there has been some thinning since this photo was taken?

Sacrilege, I know, but looking at that old Burst with the Gibson logo-I kinda like it! :couch
It reminds me of the Strats and others I've seen with folk's initials pasted on with various metal or plastic letters. Elvis anyone?

I think the thinning happened after that photo was shot.

I think that 60 burst was ment to end up with Joe, someone who is interested in it primarily as an instrument. It is ironic that that guitar is being brought up almost one year after the thread that started all the drama.lol good to know this has all ended well. By the way Great show DOUG,PAT,& JOE ;) oh and not to forget MIKE!
