• Guys, we've spent considerable money converting the Les Paul Forum to this new XenForo platform, and we have ongoing monthly operating expenses. THE "DONATIONS" TAB IS NOW WORKING, AND WE WOULD APPRECIATE ANY DONATIONS YOU CAN MAKE TO KEEP THE LES PAUL FORUM GOING! Thank you!

Forum brothers... have been researching prices on a '64 ES 335. Found this thread from LPF regarding a '63 ES 335 --> http://bit.ly/19r0yoA

Curious if, a year or so later, these prices are still in play. Thread suggests prices anywhere from $12-$20K depending on condition, originality... The '64 335 I'm reviewing has new frets and nut otherwise clean, original, with original case. No bigsby. Seller wants $25K. Thoughts?

:hmm

Might wanna get some closeup pics especially on the fingerboard. I think I spotted some divots near the second fret.

Not sure about the factor of 2 but definitely a high price for a refret. Red 64's command the "Clapton" premium though...

Buy a '59 345 and save $9k+.
You get the big neck, Mickey Mouse ears, and if you're lucky some white bobbins. :2cool

$25k seems high for sure. I've purchased two 64's in the past 3 years. One cherry and one sunburst. Both stop tails, very clean and all original with cases. Both under $15k.

Too high. I would say 16K -> 18K.

It seems that $15-$20K is the range based on many of the responses and current listings that I've seen... :hmm
