Just check Burst Serial. :ganz

Thanks Tom! I forgot about those!! :salude

While you're here (if you're still here) I was curious as to when/why the covers came off Sandy. Was that your doing or did it 'arrive' that way? :hmm

If I'm not mistaken.. I think Goldie had DiMarzio's in it when Bruce Sandler bought it....you don't see to many double whites in the early 9 0600 series if at all.

I believe this photo was taken at the Dallas show right after Bruce bought it.
The bridge pup appears to be PAF style, but still could be a DiMarzio. :hmm

When I got it, both pups were zebras, but the bridge pup has been altered. Maybe a different bobbin, or maybe a different pickup.

Here's a much older shot when Jeff Adams played it, and you can see the bridge was double black. :)

Thanks Vic! I had always assumed they were just rare Gibson double whites. DiMarzio's in there makes a bit more sense, but there's definitely some sacrilege involved! :rofl

Thanks again Tom... that's a great picture (and great backstory)! :salude

I believe that this photo confirms that early on she had double whites although its been reported she also had double blacks, Zebras, and a lovely lilac color! Your welcome! Mystery solved, always glad to be of service to my forum brothers.
