• Guys, we've spent considerable money converting the Les Paul Forum to this new XenForo platform, and we have ongoing monthly operating expenses. THE "DONATIONS" TAB IS NOW WORKING, AND WE WOULD APPRECIATE ANY DONATIONS YOU CAN MAKE TO KEEP THE LES PAUL FORUM GOING! Thank you!

Interesting Gustavsson for sale on eBay. No relation to this seller - just think it is a cool piece:

Woah. Johan's guitars are killer. His 'burst replicas were scary good.

Interesting beginning.

My view is that the BM Semi is the pinnacle of his work, classic style, fantastic feel and responsiveness, unmatched craftsmanship...here is Johann showing his first red one that I have the privilege of playing, a bunch!

None of my vintage or new instruments is better playing, sounding or crafted.

Those are really sweet. Does the low serial number demand $10,000? Is there anything that makes the early ones better? I have heard of these but have no knowledge base about pricing.

this should tell you everything you need to know. world reknowned burst expert and collector's first hand observations here. tom's opinion is gold and not for sale.

I got to play one at a jam. It was by far the best replica I ever saw or played.

I could be happy with my Gustavssons and no other guitars. :salude

when highly respected vintage guys are praising new construction, you better listen. especially when the new builds are being compared so favorably to iconic instruments that are selling north of 180gs. this ain't no pms.

They are indeed. I've been tempted to sell mine because the loot would be real nice to have for my upcoming med bills, then I pull them out and play 'em and that pretty much puts an end to those thoughts.
