• Guys, we've spent considerable money converting the Les Paul Forum to this new XenForo platform, and we have ongoing monthly operating expenses. THE "DONATIONS" TAB IS NOW WORKING, AND WE WOULD APPRECIATE ANY DONATIONS YOU CAN MAKE TO KEEP THE LES PAUL FORUM GOING! Thank you!

My recent experience with this guitar has given me more reasons for large neck appreciation. Not only is it more comfortable to play and more toneful but the large mass of wood makes the tuning more stable. Pulled it out last night for rehearsal and didn't need tuning!

To be fair, the tuning on my slim necked Dot Reissue (USA Standard model) is perfectly stable, too.

I would like a '58 RI, but can't justify it as the Dot is a great guitar which has caused me to pass on several RI's. Maybe I just got lucky?

I LIKE BIG NECKS, I CANNOT LIE!
Ive been in the market for the 58 335 ever since I got my 2006 vos 58 les paul.Great big ass neck. Finally tried out a 2016 58 335 and was blown away by the guitar,Fat ass neck, fit, sound etc..I have 2014 dot and a faded 2016 335.. Iam not crazy about the price tag but after trying out that 58 Man !! Iam in bad way now... Thinking about moving a few guitars to get that 58..I tried the newer tradional 335 ,59 335, all good all with a C neck but nothing like the 58 neck ,again the sound was great and it really felt and looked like an old great guitar..wanted a burst but they only had a yellowed natural which iam really digging too.. Any other players out there with the 58 335 would love to hear your thoughts and opinions..

I guess my only complaint would be they didn’t make one in the Cherry finish.
