• Guys, we've spent considerable money converting the Les Paul Forum to this new XenForo platform, and we have ongoing monthly operating expenses. THE "DONATIONS" TAB IS NOW WORKING, AND WE WOULD APPRECIATE ANY DONATIONS YOU CAN MAKE TO KEEP THE LES PAUL FORUM GOING! Thank you!

I believe they are called International Vintage Guitars. The price I saw was $185K.
Despite the listing saying all parts original, it clearly has a changed [neck] volume pot and the knobs are later version reflector tops. Pretty minor issues overall.

I had the chance to play it when I was down there last month, couldn't put it down, sounded and played great, store owner told me 2 volume pots are changed, had a refret, and jack plate replaced Tom mentioned the knobs, he's the expert, I'm not, I was blown away by the sound, we were playing it through a mint '64 Bassman and like I said before I couldn't put it down. I have an R8 and R9 and they sound fantastic but no comparison to the real thing Rock n Roll everybody!!!!!!!:jim:jim

That guitar knows humidity!

I also think it's cool that the only known photo of Les Paul actually playing a Burst was taken at a music store in NOLA.

Just an observation. It makes it's way onto the LPF, someone shows interest. And "Wah Lah", price goes up within a day. :hmm Business as usual. :rofl

Seriously? 1960 lacquer/dye different than '58, '59? 'Never knew this -

Same with 1960 Fenders. I had a 1960 Strat that used to be 3 tone sunburst but ended up 2 tone. Red disappeared.
