• Guys, we've spent considerable money converting the Les Paul Forum to this new XenForo platform, and we have ongoing monthly operating expenses. THE "DONATIONS" TAB IS NOW WORKING, AND WE WOULD APPRECIATE ANY DONATIONS YOU CAN MAKE TO KEEP THE LES PAUL FORUM GOING! Thank you!

Never heard of them before - I guess that's my fault.

But I noticed these guys opened a Reverb shop yesterday, and practically everything offered there was sold within a day (including a nice late '56 Junior with a serial number adjacent to mine). They must be really popular then.

Had no opportunity to listen to any vids - but the description 'emo rock' sounds not too appealing, like the band name. Any fans here?

Yes, but not willingly. LOL I worked with a guy who used to play a Dashboard Confessional CD every morning at work. Finally after a few months, the CD mysteriously found its way into a garbage can. ;)

A lot of early dashboard confessional songs are good.. a lot of them are also in alternate tuning.. this period of DB vid (new one ) sucks.. When early DB songs came out not a lot of pop rock songs are in alternate tunings.. i know a lot of people who rediscovered alternate tuning from learning these songs.. at this point in music where a guitar is almost non existent i welcome anything that has it...
