Looks great, congrats! Still wondering with the big price increase, if you think the new finish does anything to affect the tone?
I had a couple CC models that were heavily aged and thought they had something special going on that might be due to the finish. A bit more acoustic ring to them.
Guess I'll just need to play one in person and decide for myself.

Beautiful love the vibe , Ive been looking seems the prices are varied do to level of aging .

The prices seem reasonable , Although the guitars have not made it to the back door non dealer CHIMPS yet from what I've seen !

"resonant" seems to be the common thing about those Murphy's, many little details might contribute !

Some say that it's the best representation of the 1959 Les Paul Standard since the Gibson Custom Shop began making Historic Reissues over twenty-five years ago.

Personnaly, never thought that I would find a better Les Paul than my 2009 Pearly Gates, but this Murphy is better (for me anyway) .
This is very encouraging, Although I own several Wilson era Historic guitars I have ALWAYS felt they could do much better .

The 60th are fantastic , The Custom shop I feel will also be elevated Tom's Influence Gibson has really hit the ball out of the park 2018 & going forward .

I found that video very interesting ! terrific sound on each pickup's position, the twang with both pickups, and then, when he cranks the volume, your can hear the gracious tone. This is the kind of tone that I like !
Love the playin'
