• Guys, we've spent considerable money converting the Les Paul Forum to this new XenForo platform, and we have ongoing monthly operating expenses. THE "DONATIONS" TAB IS NOW WORKING, AND WE WOULD APPRECIATE ANY DONATIONS YOU CAN MAKE TO KEEP THE LES PAUL FORUM GOING! Thank you!

I really like the dark cherry bursts with dark cherry backs. Plays and sounds great. Great player.

That’s amazing, is that an R9 or another model? I’ve never seen that finish before.
1996 Les Paul Classic Premium Plus with a hand rubbed finish. Mike Slubowski mentioned this small run in a article on this forum that he wrote about The Les Paul Classic history. I believe there were 5 colors and Mike has all of them. Some from this run had big tops. Even though it is not a Historic, it is a big LP flametop. I hope it is okay to post in this thread. :)

Very 'PRS'. I saw the photos come up on my tablet a couple of days ago and thought it was either one of those rare Classic Plus AAAAAAAAAA etc etc models or it was a custom made replica.
Not my cuppa, but it is an absolute stunner, nevertheless.
FWIW, if it's a 'flametop' and it's Les Paul shaped, for me, it qualifies.

It turned Saturday here, but Friday in a lot of places! First addition in a long time, bought a true dreamguitar at last. 2021 1959 Les Paul Standard re-issue in dirty lemon :p
Love everything about it, except for he neckpickup being a bit too wooly and thick/flutey sounding to my ears/would love more treble bite and tightnes.....
