I searched and I searched, but I couldn’t find any info on the RI ‘54. Like or dislike, pickups, sound, feel anything?

That is so awesome and you are in for some good times and fun . Best Wishes !Just pulled the plug from Sweetwater. 7 loooooong day wait.
Darn tooting right . Jeez , waiting sucks !Had the ‘68 on order for awhile, i called to see what’s up, told it will be quite some time yet. At the age of 72 i can’t be waiting, must be playing.
You have chosen wisely.Had the ‘68 on order for awhile, i called to see what’s up, told it will be quite some time yet. At the age of 72 i can’t be waiting, must be playing.
A Guitar Center somewhere in (I think) Tennessee had one of those R7 Custom/Emerald Green/triple p'up Chambered models. They evidently had it for a while and ended up blowing it out for right around $3k. But then, knowing myself, I would have bounced it soon enough, as the neck depth was only .925".
yeah thats it....in fact that might even be the guitar.....I recall the serial number was either CR76021 or 23, but the Grovers were kidney Rotos...looks like these were changed...anyway, they only made between 15-20 of these Emerald Green Chambered Customs. LP Forum member and friend Dan Nichols ran the Chambered-Reissue .org site for a long time. I was hoping he'd hear from someone looking to sell, but no such luck. The website is still up , being handled by someone else now. Check it out. Some very cool looking guitars there. That was such a cool run of Wildwood guitars...I remember when they came out.
They did 3 pickup versions, and alnico versions...chambered, Cloud 9 style, nickel hardware and that Gretsch-style green...
This guitar below is not mine...just for reference.
