Cesar mentions the pricing in the video I posted above. The Explorer is priced at 30K & the Flying V is 20K--wow! Here`s the video where he mentions the prices:|What's the pricing on these going to be? Betting they'll top $10K?
the guitars come with a meet and greet Gibson Factory fly in also, meet all the present day Gibson brass etc. it's all spelled out in detail on the websiteI’ve been seeing suggestions of $20k for the V’s and $40k for the Explorer’s, USA only due to Braz Rosewood boards.
Seems steeper than I expected but equally it’s in-line with what I’d expect from any Murphy-Lab limited run artist models with Braz boards so I can see it being accurate.
Hope someone can confirm either way.
Coincidentally, I’ve been mulling over a Flying V for ages but thought that a Banker would make more sense for value than a M2M Gibson (especially as I wanted Korina and Braz). This news hasn’t done much to change my mind!
for sure , how can they not ?|What's the pricing on these going to be? Betting they'll top $10K?
Matt is an absolute joy to deal with on all levels.Banker it is
50K for both of them! C`mon man, we know you got that kinda cash in your back pocket!50 Grand?
50 fooking Grand?
50K for both of them--30K for the Explorer [which I have read is already 'sold out'] & 20K for the Flying V.Serious, 50K? Not really sure how to comment??? Best left unsaid.
The only thing I seem to able to keep in me pockets for any length of time these days are me bleedin hands...50K for both of them! C`mon man, we know you got that kinda cash in your back pocket!
Stuff like that you just can't make up and is so true as how absurd it is to discard a pocketbook of that value . I know a little bit because of family and friends with tastes like this . Which makes it more justifiable for my spending habits on instruments . What a fun and wacky world we live in !About 10 years ago I'm at this dive bar in Chicago in our hood to see some punk/indy show. My roommate and his girlfriend insisted I come along. Anyways, it was a fine night, got lit up like I always do.
So, drama ensues, his girlfriend wants to leave for some messed up reason no one knows about. We get in the cab where she causes a little scene throwing something out the window. I eject myself from the shenanigans and meet up with friends at another spot.
Next morning I ask my buddy what happened. Apparently (this girl is a daughter of some semi-famous Chicago architect) no one noticed or complimented her designer studded punk looking hipster purse. She bought it just for that show thinking the band members they knew would dig it or something to that effect. It cost her $3,000, and there it was that evening lying out in a random street in the hood!
I wish I could be that cool.
