• Guys, we've spent considerable money converting the Les Paul Forum to this new XenForo platform, and we have ongoing monthly operating expenses. THE "DONATIONS" TAB IS NOW WORKING, AND WE WOULD APPRECIATE ANY DONATIONS YOU CAN MAKE TO KEEP THE LES PAUL FORUM GOING! Thank you!

I'm quite clear on this matter... Apparently you didn't watch the documentary, or hear what he said..
I’ve watched the documentary.

EricClapton never apologised for being a racist in that documentary.

And people of colour in England aren’t African Americans. Maybe you are as ignorant as Eric Clapton. Maybe not.

I know what a "wog" is referring to... I get it... Anyway, I'd rather live with the ability to forgive than not forgive.... I'm sorry you don't feel the same, that's all..

This thread is now locked. I am through with the negative comments about Clapton, so the best I could do was lock this thread.

Speaking of which, @NYCBURST, aren't you that same guy making some really disgusting comments about Cherie Currie? Clearly you must not be a music fan if you make derogatory comments about female rock stars. Cherie's a genius. An artist. To me, she deserves just as much recognition as Joan Jett.

Go buy a Runaways album and then admit to me that Cherie Currie is a good guitar player. Hell, you should go see the Runaways movie with Kristen Stewart and Dakota Fanning. You'll be glad you did.

No, I'm afraid you're confusing me with someone else... I don't even know who that is...

He doesn’t apologise in that article and he doesn’t apologise in the documentary (I watched it again).

in the article he is showing remorse. He is talking about his old self that "went away with the drinking". No he didn't say "I'm sorry"

“The drink, the drugs, the women...” Sounds like someone I would have enjoyed hanging out with. In fact, we did our level best to emulate the rock and roll lifestyle, about the time Clapton was helping set the standard. I wouldn’t change A THING about how he, or we, went about living our youthful exuberance.

Some of y’all need to get over yourselves. May I suggest a stiff drink and a good, stray woman? It might be liberating! 😂

I believe as of today, the LPF has 40,872 members. Apparently, about 40,862 of them don't give a rat's ass about what Clapton said way back when.

Sorry, just thought I'd throw that out. I'll go back in my corner now.

To add insult to injury, now we've got people in this thread stating facts.

What the feck is the world coming to?
