• Guys, we've spent considerable money converting the Les Paul Forum to this new XenForo platform, and we have ongoing monthly operating expenses. THE "DONATIONS" TAB IS NOW WORKING, AND WE WOULD APPRECIATE ANY DONATIONS YOU CAN MAKE TO KEEP THE LES PAUL FORUM GOING! Thank you!

Trying to get original Gibson Historic plastic bits and pieces and found out Gibson wont be selling them anymore, seems a loss of extra money for them, not to mention annoying for consumer because prices of these bits have now skyrocketed and impossible to get, hmm.

If you want Accurate Gibson Historic plastic…more accurate than the ones Gibson Custom Shop makes , then Montreux is top notchThey have different levels of Accuracy as well, but there (Time Machine Collection) is made to replace plastic on real Bursts..Thats what i have on my 2018 R0, and 2019 R9 as well as my 2016 Gibson a custom shop Historic SG Standard

I’ll be using there Black Bonnet knobs on the Gibson Korina/Brazillian 1958 Flying V, that Desert Star Guitars is building me

This build Also has Mojoaxe parts, witch are also really nice , for Historic correct

Pretty sure he’s sorted all of his supply chain issues out. He has a pretty strong presence on FB. At least that’s what I’ve seen.

Oh ok..that’s great then…there’s some guys still having issues on another Les paul forum, with CT, as I’m subscribed too the topic, soo I thought there was still issues…

I know a large group of guys over there, will not be buying there again though.

If Lonnie (Creamtone) can't make it right for all the customers he has failed then there is no "sorting out" of his supply chain or business that should continue without addressing his past wrong doings.

Period.

Ordered from Creamtone recently, got everything within a couple of days. Great parts and quick shipping once again.

Exactly what I think….there are members I know on the other LP forum, that placed pretty large orders, over a year ago…and still have not got there plastic parts.Including a full plastic kit for a Historic Les paul, and and plastics, and electronic kits.

Now….and I’m not saying that this makes it right for other people, but…I have always got everything, ive orderd…I’ve had long conversations with Lonnie in the past, as I’m like a little kid, obsessed with the latest new toy…regarding Vintage Gibsons…and Lonnie seems the same.

Lonnie is not a bad person,..god knows what happend…depression and mental health can be a mother..$$$$!$ but still, for someone asking my opinion here, as to what and where to buy parts from.I will recommend, Montreux

Old School,

Just went on Gibson's web site and they show all parts being available. Now of course we know how accurate some websites can be! My question to you is : how did you find out they will not be selling historic parts anymore?

I messaged Gibson USA, only have some items left and the guy said he was informed that Gibson wont be selling the Historic stuff anymore, which is weird because I think they are now selling the Custombucks STRANGE
