• Guys, we've spent considerable money converting the Les Paul Forum to this new XenForo platform, and we have ongoing monthly operating expenses. THE "DONATIONS" TAB IS NOW WORKING, AND WE WOULD APPRECIATE ANY DONATIONS YOU CAN MAKE TO KEEP THE LES PAUL FORUM GOING! Thank you!

    Dickie Betts Gone

Thanks and Godspeed, Brother. RIP. It is with profound sadness and heavy hearts that the Betts family announce the peaceful passing of Forrest Richard 'Dickey' Betts (December 12, 1943 - April 18, 2024) at the age of 80 years old. The legendary performer, songwriter, bandleader and family...

The Reverb link you provided brings up a listing with Fuller as the seller.

Verifiy Authenticity 2022 Les Paul R9

Looks kosher. Plus, Fuller's is an authorized Gibson dealer. I doubt they would scam, or resell a fake as real. And R-stamps have 'gone missing' before...

The "Official" Custom Shop Tour by Gibson TV / Gear Guide

I have to say: cheers to whoever thought to spec a M2M Murphy Lab '56 SG'. This is the type of 'parallel universe' thing I'd like to see regular runs of! ~1:05

    One For "The Lefty Archives"

Thanks, Steve. First time I recall seeing this one: off-center seam, I'd remember! Do you think it got the 'Les Paul' TRC during the re-fin? Anyone know its whereabouts?

59 Reissue - brand new - strings feel stiffer compared to my standards

There is truth in the Lockdown Supply Chain thesis: I've been through 3 new OEM batteries from Acura, at their expense, due to failure. Never had such a problem before. The dealership shrugs and replaces under warranty and tells me they are seeing at lot of parts quality issues post-Lockdown.

NGD Murphy Lab R4 (ish) Single Pickup

That is my understanding as well. Love the dark board and speed knobs along with the layout so I wouldn't give it up, either. Good luck!

True or False All 1959 Les Paul Standards are Sunburst Finishes.

False. Per examples cited. Unless you subscribe to some [original meaning] non-binary fuzzy math. Or, you believe you can get 'a little pregnant...'

    1959 es 345
