Guys, we've spent considerable money converting the Les Paul Forum to this new XenForo platform, and we have ongoing monthly operating expenses. THE "DONATIONS" TAB IS NOW WORKING, AND WE WOULD APPRECIATE ANY DONATIONS YOU CAN MAKE TO KEEP THE LES PAUL FORUM GOING! Thank you!
Ah, the “good wood” years….another delusional term put on an unknown number of guitars made during a non definable era.
1959 was the good wood year, 1999 no. Those were the reissue years.
Take your good wood guitar and compare it in person to a fifties les Paul, your good wood will not be as...
I have aged guitars, shiny new guitars, and vintags guitars, ain’t trying to fool anyone, or convince anybody about mojo, jo,jo, or dont You know it’s not real.
The assumption that one dings their own guitar up by playing it, makes them more authentic, is bullshit. practice makes me more...
Matt what caused the finish to flake off the MLabs?
How many guitars were affected?
why does there appear to be so much disappointment in the customer service regarding returns or replacements.
if you were truly misquoted regarding your comments about the CC line, what did You actually say?
Dan, I picked up one of these from wildwood, 699 shipped.
I am stunned At how good sounding it is. It will hang with any guitar I have owned, don’t be afraid to use the volu and tone knobs. The diversity of the one pickup exceeds my expectations. The neck measures .92 which is pretty big.
just...
Mike deserves an apology, and as usual he is a class act, and a gentleman.
the rest of the cc owners get what we get, a line of bullshit.
Apparently Gibson learned nothing from the play authentic fiasco.
You know Mike, you Wittrock, and Daughtry are the first people I thought of. The three of you have done more to advance all things Gibson, through your support and the development of this forum.
And now you have this Gibson employee basically telling those that were loyal, and bought into their...
So Matt Koehler says collectors choice guitars were not “exciting” anymore, and were just copies of rich people’s unpopular les,Paul’s. Contrary to their marketing chant during the run. My question is why should anyone believe them this time around, and what non rich person owns a 59 les Paul...
I have a short lead wire on my bridge pickup, when I try to get a reading with a multimeter it reads very low, like 0.3, does this mean the pickup is dead?
I need to extend the lead wire, but am concerned the pickup has other problems.
You know it, you have seen it, your guitar probably sat in it at one time.
Infamous, and copied by many others.
Does anybody know what I chair I am speaking of?
Forum brother Fred has just sold one of his Rossingtons, in record time I may add.
Sooooo, what is replacing it Fred, I gots to know what could possibly replace THAT guitar?
