Celestion AlNiCo Golds are great. In my head/ears they are more honky than the blue. The extra bass adds a contrast to the mids and highs that’s not there in the blue. Can’t go wrong though.

The covers look to be bog standard Gibson. The Decal is possibly a repro, as it's more accurate than say what was on the BB or 57 of the time. If you have BB Pro's (this is an '02), then they should sound fantastic. The Gen 1 BB's are IMO their best modern PAF RI pickup yet. The sticker changed...
