Guys, we've spent considerable money converting the Les Paul Forum to this new XenForo platform, and we have ongoing monthly operating expenses. THE "DONATIONS" TAB IS NOW WORKING, AND WE WOULD APPRECIATE ANY DONATIONS YOU CAN MAKE TO KEEP THE LES PAUL FORUM GOING! Thank you!
What was the question?
Bad photo but it serves to make the point.
1. The Futura sits and feels and plays more like a Les Paul (IMHO) due to the deep set sixteenth fret neck joint.
2. Also IMHO, the split headstock feels almost like an LP/SG/ES 3x3 traditional headstock when...
You could do a charge back with your cc company.
However, that will be a miserable experience, too.
Did Reverb wash their hands of the matter or are they going to try to make good?
That is aggravating, for sure.
I have been lucky with Reverb.
The Buyer Protection is helpful and I am glad it is letting you return this guitar. But nobody wants to have to go to that hassle. The seller gets what he deserves.
That is a shame.
If you want to use the Beanos, you could just splice them back in.
I have sent several pickups to James @ ReWind to extend or replace short leads and to make four conductor leads into vintage braided leads.
Everyone seems to think the modifications they make are so clever...
Higher quality than what a vintage Gibson example would be (if one existed! ).
It is too well made to feel like the real thing (if that can even make sense?).
