Guys, we've spent considerable money converting the Les Paul Forum to this new XenForo platform, and we have ongoing monthly operating expenses. THE "DONATIONS" TAB IS NOW WORKING, AND WE WOULD APPRECIATE ANY DONATIONS YOU CAN MAKE TO KEEP THE LES PAUL FORUM GOING! Thank you!
Recently got my DakotaVII delivered. It's fantastic, the middle p.up blends into the neck or bridge, to give more tonal variety. It can also be toggled on it own. It's rather taken over from my reissue 57 CS Les Paul as No1 .....it feels just like the LP when playing.....very similar neck, but...
I have a signed Zendrive but find that unity happens at around 5% on the volume dial so playing with more than one pedal is impossible because the Zen is too loud. If adjust it to unity (5%) I don't get the soaring harmonics I would at 12 o'clock (50%) on volume......Any ideas?
Hey thanks for responding.....I think you're completely right ......even though doing it makes me feel a bit more obsessive/nerdy/ etc than I already am for enjoying my guitar so much
This may be a bit banal but as I'm new to all this I thought I'd just ask....recently bought my dream R9 and it is superb....couldn't be happier. Other than rehearsals and gigs it lives in its case with the toggle switch cover screwed off. Do most people detatch their toggle covers or leave them...
Interesting (I'm using a Strymon Sunset and a Zendrive , but use them with the 'Rythm' channel. ) Are you using the OD with the Lead or Rythm channel? ie using the Lead channel as an OD voice?
Does it come down to the difference between those who want a VOS to hang on their wall or simply to own as a replica, and those who want an instrument that has been the focus of attention of luthiers and other skilled craftsmen and women so that it it plays better than everything else they can...
It's a keeper. Beautiful amp. Whether you're playing a LP; 335 ( dream team) or strat it just sounds great. I gig mine regularly and it's plenty loud with enough headroom in even pretty big club rooms. My friends SkyKing has heaps more headroom never gets above 3 on the volume. We both attenuate...
Im not sure if anyone else has experienced this - the horseshoe part of the Schaller lock is too small for the strap knob on my new R9. As Im not keen to begin re-drilling the hole in my guitar to replace the lock nut on the body, I contacted Schaller - and was told that they offer a range of...
