Any tips on restoring an old case? This late '50s acoustic case is in pretty good shape, but it has been taped around the seams and is down to bare wood in some places. Is it best just to remove the tape, and glue the seams back?
My uncles house was robbed and his original cherry 335 was stolen. He did not have it documented. I haven't seen it in 15 years, but it was clean (he never played it) and it had a factory Bigsby with the custom made plaque.
