Guys, we've spent considerable money converting the Les Paul Forum to this new XenForo platform, and we have ongoing monthly operating expenses. THE "DONATIONS" TAB IS NOW WORKING, AND WE WOULD APPRECIATE ANY DONATIONS YOU CAN MAKE TO KEEP THE LES PAUL FORUM GOING! Thank you!
I tried to replace the the stock P-90 covers on my R6 with covers from Seymour Duncan, but, the pole spacing is a hair different and won't allow it.
I've seen threads about this in the past and based on what I read I was under the impression that this would be an exact fit without any...
My R7 is gonna need a new tailpiece stud. I want to replace it with another one from Gibson, but, figured I would try to buy the less expensive set like this http://www.sweetwater.com/store/detail/PTTP015/ rather than the more expensive set like this...
I know the custom shop has been producing a 61 reissue, but, these guys have this one listed as a 62. Also the tuners are kidney shaped grovers instead of the kluson style. I called Gibson with the serial number and they were little help...
Some time ago I came across a goldtop les paul that did have a stinger design on the back of the headstock. In addition to that it had the flowerpot inlay on the front of the headstock in place of the traditional silkscreened Les Paul autograph type logo. I regret not buying it on the spot...
Does anyone know the name of the rare inlay that looks like a goblet or wine glass with something rising from the top of the glass?
I would appreciate any information at all, such as what it is called and which guitars received it and why!
I am wondering how the RS modern upgrade kit sounds with a set of factory Burstbucker 1 & 2 pickups. I am thinking of going with the "modern" kit rather than the "vintage" kit.
Thanks in advance for any information and/or opinions.
I've read alot of posts regarding the different shades of gold used on Goldtops throughout the years.
Two questions;
1. Are the differences really that drastic?
2. How many variations have there been?
P.S. I know Sean will have some insight on this!
