Oh for sure exactly the 3D effect and how it changes to a mushroom shade depending on the angle. It does have a pick guard but not hole for it. have yet to deicde if i want to install it or not. The top is so amazing to cover it up but yet seems not normal with out it.
Just got this and really digging. The faded burst is so cool with how it changes to a mushroomy green color.
I am digging the thinner neck profile, and the sound,, is incredible. I love how light it is compared to my 1982 Les Paul Custom which weighs in at, close to 13lbs.
