Guys, we've spent considerable money converting the Les Paul Forum to this new XenForo platform, and we have ongoing monthly operating expenses. THE "DONATIONS" TAB IS NOW WORKING, AND WE WOULD APPRECIATE ANY DONATIONS YOU CAN MAKE TO KEEP THE LES PAUL FORUM GOING! Thank you!
After playing something else? I'm talking mid-set, just set other down and play the SG. I get messed up! That long neck, so much real estate! I'm always going too far up the neck, say to 15th vs. 12th.
I'd prefer a maple cap on mahogany but will consider other body woods. More important is neck; is there a certain year(s) Studio with big necks? 0.95" on up?
I have a set of Marshallheads that I really like. The legs are 1/2", which I assume are long leg? Do you know if these will fit an SG 61 RI (1/2 pickguard w/ HB rings, not the batwing style)?
Please no flogging; I've done searches and can't find a definitive answer. I know they resumed it's use after a long absence, but restricted it to back, sides, and neck (no tops). Does anyone know the dates involved?
Has anyone tried www.geartrader.net? Right now in an effort to get the site going, they are offering free listings with no closing costs. Give them a try and sell some gear or better yet buy something!
