Guys, we've spent considerable money converting the Les Paul Forum to this new XenForo platform, and we have ongoing monthly operating expenses. THE "DONATIONS" TAB IS NOW WORKING, AND WE WOULD APPRECIATE ANY DONATIONS YOU CAN MAKE TO KEEP THE LES PAUL FORUM GOING! Thank you!
Really beautiful, I could only dream of owning one of these beauties..
The pickguard I had in question was for a two pickup guitar, with my luck it was probably from the 50s which is worth twice the money (if not more) than what I sold it for.
I recently bought a 60s pickguard for a LP custom, but now that I look closer it might be older? it has not yellowed in the white stripes

Great I will look into the 2020 reissues :) when it comes to the details I think I want it as stock as possible if it is "newer", probably want a one with the deeper sculpting and the medium vibrola and maybe I will add more personal preferences regarding the pickups later on;
when it comes to...
What are your thought on this SG?

Never thought about adding weight to the end of the strap, nice tip. Have had that problem with my current guitar so I will try ir out :)
Regarding the vibrola I have heard from some people having problems with it on their SG, however it have been with some later ones from the 70s;
