Guys, we've spent considerable money converting the Les Paul Forum to this new XenForo platform, and we have ongoing monthly operating expenses. THE "DONATIONS" TAB IS NOW WORKING, AND WE WOULD APPRECIATE ANY DONATIONS YOU CAN MAKE TO KEEP THE LES PAUL FORUM GOING! Thank you!
1964 Blackface Super Reverb in excellent shape. Comes with original fender pull over cover and a brand new ATA road case with locking wheels. New caps and new grounded power cord. It's shared the stage this year with George Thorogood, Rick Derringer, CCR and Grand Funk and never let me down.

Just picked up a TRAD+ in Desertburst. Decent top too. I had the shop put a Calaham ABR1 bridge on her on day two but didn't really notice any difference - if anything it seemed WORSE. The tone of the Calaham was 'fuzzy' with no definition. The new posts were larger than stock and we had to...
I would like to personally and publicly THANK Frank -
I was looking for a back issue if Vintage Guitar magazine from 2005 because I just bought a guitar featured in that issue: a Sherwood Green '67 tele.
Frank spent time digging through all those beautiful Les Pauls and found the issue and...
I just called VG and they don't carry older back-issues.
I'm looking for a copy of Sept. 2005 with Brian Setzer on the cover.
If anyone can help me find a copy I'd be grateful. Thanks.
Greetings gents,
Although I'm mostly a Strat guy, I love Les Pauls too. I've owned a '74 black beauty, a bunch of late 80's and early 90's standards and customs and most recently a 2006 R-9.
I'm an agressive player and have always been physical with my guitars and it seems Strats stay in tune...
Did some work at my friends' studio today (where I got the Ritchie Blackmore Celestions) and he had a 1974X 18-watt reissue combo. I dicked around with one at a local music store when they first came out, but I was playing a strat through it and it didn't do much for me.
The 355 through this...
I can't seem to find how many CS 'Limited Run" 355's they made in 2006.
I'd sure appreciate it if anyone could help me find this info.:hmm
PS- I have not called Gibson yet - figured I could find it on the web.
Man, I love DP.
I didn't know Ritchie played an ES335 - always thought he was a Strat guy.
I was pleasantly suprised to see him on this vid!
PS- Ian Gillan's voice has still not been matched to this day.:wail
Check it out....

I initially set up my pedalboard for strats and it has worked well~
now my main axe is the ES-355 and suddenly my wah and chorus are basically not working. I understand the double-coils have a different sonic range, but I can't dial them in to save my life.
Here's the signal chain:

I recently bought a 355 and I've been fooling around with different applications and combinations of pedals into my DSL100 full stack.
Last night I added a Keeley Katana into the signal-chain as a front end booster - set only at 5 with the knob pushed in for clean. To my ears the Katana offers...
I was in the studio yesterday and through the engineer I stumbled upon eight new-looking celestion 35's from Ritchie's rig -numbered and dated by hand.
I'm told Ritchie used to use them for one show and them swap them out for new ones.
Anyway I grabbed them - I figure I'll load them into my...
If anyone is in the Danbury area tonight and looking for some Classic Rock music - my band NV is playing at Molly Darcy's on Mill Plain road.
I'm running the 355 through a full DSL 100 stack and it sounds mighty sweet!
