Quality of ceriatone amplifiers?

I’ve recently put my first payment down for a ceriatone JM 100 watt head.

What are the quality of there amps like? They sound amazing from YouTube videos I’ve watched but in terms of build quality, and indeed tonal quality if you want to comment on that too, what are they like?

Is it gonna get me close to those sparkly Mayer/SRV cleans? It’s supposedly a clone of the Mayer two rock, and a good one if YouTube videos are anything to judge sound by, but to those of you who have them currently, or indeed previously, how good are they really?

Do they compare the two rocks? I know there not gonna be exact, but like 98%

Thanks in advance for the reply’s.

I can't compare my old OTS50 to any other D-style amp, but I can say that the build quality was FANTASTIC and when a snubber cap failed a few years after ordering it, I was on the phone with Nik (owner of Ceriatone) for an hour while he walked me through troubleshooting to find the problem.

I don't own a Ceriatone anymore, but I'd buy another in an instant.

I'm also an OTS50 owner and what a great amp it is. Mine's from 2010 and has never had any issues other than the pilot light dying. I really need to play it more often, it is such a great amp!
I haven't heard the JM but I am familiar with the Two Rock JM and if it Nik copied it than your in for a super sound!

I had an OTS 50 and like others have said, it was really well made. I had their 20 Watt Lead and Bass which was also very well made. I still have an OTS 20 Lunchbox. Build quality with Ceriatone made amps is great. I'm going to say they are a great value. Some people like them and keep them forever, but I've read several people who eventually get a Fuchs, Two Rock or some other amp that is more true to being a Dumble clone.

Never had the model in question but I’ve had many and they have all been excellent. 1st rate build quality!

His builds are excellent and you can't complain about the sound. I have an 18-watt from '07. I've had to replace the transformers (2x on the OT - Nik sent me a replacement for the first one) and have had Heyboers in it for many years. Other than those transformer issues years ago, it's been great.

I’ve got a Ceriatone 2550 that I love to death. It’s well built and reliable. It certainly scratches the Silver Jubilee itch for me.

I have a Ceriatone Expression that I love! The build quality is second to none and I had a great experience with the purchase. Couple that with the price and I don't see how you can lose.
