Steve, the 59 had the fatter neck of the two, with the 60 being a little flatter with the same amount of shoulder as it's older brother. Neither could be described as handfuls, but both immensely satisfying to play. I preferred the 59 neck, but only because I prefer big necks.Okay so my face has turned green(with envy)..........too good Paul.
I take it you spent time with Uncle Bob.
Hadn't noticed it before but the different tuners compared to 335s etc......... and did they have fatter necks at all? Cheers.
You do indeed Jim, a guitar that easily sits in the esteemed company of these beauties. Those are cool.
one for each hand
oh do I see a Banker guitar lurking?
Agreed. Bloody marvellous guitars. It doesn't get too much better than that.

You set sail for England yet?
Through a Tweed Deluxe circuit at the tipping point, the guitar roared...literally.How do you like that single for rockin' oot?
I have seen a few for sale and they intrigue me...
I avoid speaking to the Officers at all costs...it usually ends up with the buggers giving me something to do.
I'll require POSH accommodations for the voyage. I'll need to speak to the Captain about that.
That's bloody lovely.Vintage ES-330's are real gems, here is my '59, single pickup sounds great plugged in or not and a real comfortable neck. Bought at least 25 years ago, has a few non original parts but she's a keeper obviously.View attachment 14717
