Hey all- Happy July 4th weekend!

I've been working on my tremolo technique with my 91 Strat Plus to try to make it sound like a slide guitar by using the tremolo bar as I pick. If you have a spare couple of minutes, please listen to the below recording and let me know what you think. Does it make you sea sick, or am I getting there? :)

Thanks!

Cool and interesting. If I didn’t know you were using the trem, I would have thought slide. As I knew you were using the trem, I could hear it, but most of it was very convincing! Great playing!

Oh that is definitely whammy bar material with that Strat tone galore! Jeff Beck couldn't have played it any better. It still sounds good and does have a slide vibe to it. But I play like that a lot since I my Wang bar is angled pretty high on my 1998 American Standard. I have the bridge set to floating where it is 3mm off the body so when I pull it up the G string goes up 3 steps to A#. The second string goes up 2 frets and the 1st string up one fret.
