There we go with 3 different gold finishes, sandy, honey and green.............I'll go in the middle honey
You get a pass and a super cool guitar. Very jealous.
2020 - 7 pounds, 12 ounces!
Yes it definitely could be a sweet spot. I've owned 4 original 54/55 goldtop's, the lightest of which was bang on 8 lbs and it was very 'honky' and thin sounding. The heaviest was a 55 that weighed 9.5 lbs and although it sounded great (big sounding guitar), it didn't have the resonance or the feel of my new R4. So although the orginals are obviously desirable guitars, in reality I'm enjoying my new Reissue more so than any of them, it plays like butter, it's easy on the shoulder, and it sounds sensational... what more could I ask for?Wow! Maybe a sweetspot. Biggest neck too!
Nice! Love the Black Flag JTM as well!
Hopefully I did not ask this before but what do you think of that guitar stand? I ordered a half dozen for my studio several months ago (this summer) and just have not received them do supply issues or something. Nonetheless, I’ve been asking when I see one what the person thinks. So far comments have been good!1956 Double Gold 19"View attachment 15891
