This LP Rosso Corsa Slash model is posted locally on Craigslist to include a Fender Champion 20 amp and a Boss DS-1 for $600. It looks authentic, but the SN gives it a 2006 manufacture date and these were all made in 2013 from what I have read. Also, the tuners don't say Gibson and the case doesn't have the Slash logo like the headstock like I have seen in other ads selling these guitars. It certainly looks beautiful. There are other photos and I don't see the typically knock off tell tale signs like sloppy paint edges and finish flaws. Is there any way to tell from the electronics?
Has anyone ever heard of a knock off of the Slash Rosso Corsa. And if someone went to this length to copy it, why would they then sell it for only $600? One would assume the purpose of counterfeiting an expensive guitar would be to sell is authentic for what the going price is ($3500-$3700).
Any insight would be appreciated.
