I recently got the Coppertop in a trade. The Ebony board caught my attention. From what I’ve read, the Coppertop was part of a limited Metallic series run (only 200 made in 2002). It has a ‘50’s neck, solid non-weight relieved Mahogany body, Ebony board, and a very cool color. I like it.That's a sweet collection there. I especially love the copper top. I don't remember ever having seen one before.
I totally agree. They are all beautiful but the copper top is my favorite. That's a sweet collection there. I especially love the copper top. I don't remember ever having seen one before.
There are CopperTop Classics from the early 2000's as well. It's a cool finish.
Mine is also an early 2000’s guitar (2002).
All three are very different guitars with slightly different sounds. I enjoy the variety. I’ve not had a chance to really compare (A-B) the guitars properly at volume. So how do you like the sound of your Custom relative to the others?
I don’t believe so, I know two other Studio’s (2019’s) that I’ve owned were both weight relieved.Question...are all Studio's non-weight-relieved...? As I was thinking what you may be confirming.
I have a '96 Studio Gem Series, and it was heavier than my '85 LPC.
PS Nice guitar AND amp collection...!
