I've always been a strat guy. Picked this up yesterday at Wildwood Guitars. It's the first les paul I've ever given a proper chance. It ended up beating out a few others in what turned out to be a magical experience. Wildwood's showroom is closed, but they allow you to demo gear out front. It's quite lovely.

I've always been a tele guy and recently picked up a beautiful Les Paul Standard 50's. Also in Tabaco Burst

Nice. Curious if you played and compared an R9 or R0 with the Standard 50's while you were there at Wildwood? I've been wanting to do this but my R9 infamously is out of commission for a while.

I've bought a lot of guitars from Wildwood over the years including a Standard 60s last year. Having played Les Pauls since 1976, I've got to say that the new Standards are wonderful guitars.
