Guys, we've spent considerable money converting the Les Paul Forum to this new XenForo platform, and we have ongoing monthly operating expenses. THE "DONATIONS" TAB IS NOW WORKING, AND WE WOULD APPRECIATE ANY DONATIONS YOU CAN MAKE TO KEEP THE LES PAUL FORUM GOING! Thank you!
I was 1964 (omg what a long time ago...:hee )
Oddly 3 of my absolute favourite guitarists is born the same year.
After messin' around :) with Flyin V, 335 and some SG's i finally returned to Les Paul.
This is a 2016 model. Have some wear and tear and no problem for me...
Me first with Custom Buckers and they sound really, really nice :peace2
As the title say, Les Paul players who made the wrong turn in their careers according to your opinion...
I begin, John Sykes, which i really like!!
Could have been one of the greatest but now have a career in silence.
Been playing guitars for around 40 years and. Over the years i've had 12 guitars, a Stratocaster 1977, an R8, SG '61 reissue, Fender Custom '52 Tele and Gibson 335 '59 reissue and some others . I should mention that i'm an "one guitar man". For a rather long time now i wanted a Gibson Les Paul...
Seriously considering this one...
Anyone have any feedback about the pickups, 68 humbucker pickups.
I'm no guitar geek and i absolutely dont't do anyting on my guitars (hey don't even change the strings i'm ashamed to say :spabout).
Been thinkin' for some time now to buy vintage. This weekend i've tried a '58 Les Paul Custom and it felt so right!
There's a lot of issues as you can see...
