Corrected Gibson Logo Position & Font?

I had mine lowered as part of a makeover done in 2009. I bugs me that they don't get this detail right.

I like how much easier it is to post photos, I just wish they could be loaded as easily on "The Other Gibsons" sub-forum.

Let’s see your most convincing looking reissue!

here's a pic from the "all vintage" days. PAFs, lefty 1953 guard, vintae case, etc. Part of what made this look so convincing is the headstock inlay, moved to the proper location. Also, I installed a set of "Buzzy" inlays. The old-timers around here will remember them. Made from recycled...

    Your Worst Concert Ever

Sadly, it was Dickey Betts. He had just split with The Allman Brothers, and put Great Southern back together again. They were so sloppy we walked out.

What were the best "dust ups" we've had here on the LPF during the last 21 years?

I owned this 1954 goldtop that Elliot Easton owned previously. I believe it was given to him by Bun E. Carlos. I wish I still had it.

Let’s see your most convincing looking reissue!

At one time I had my goldtop equipped with vintage parts. Everything from PAFs, an uber-rare '50s lefty creme pickguard, even a vintage case. She had several vintage dealers scratching their heads when I took it to guitar shows. These days, the vintage parts are all gone, replaced by repro, and...
