    1952/59 centre seam Burst conversion.

My '52 to '57 conversion, just didn't have that centered seam or I might have had burst done on the refinish. Gold hid the patch holes anyway. Glad I never got it in my mind to put a Bigsby on it, during my years of monkeying around.

    Why we own guitars

I was a percussionist, drummer, Tympani and trumpet player very young. Some piano and xylophone. 1965 at 18, I saw The Yardbirds with Jeff Beck at the Hullabaloo on Sunset Blvd.. That was it. From then on it was Guitar and Harmonica. I was lucky to see a Classified ad for an old Les...

And a couple thieves can conveniently take them away out the front door. Actually the Gator is pretty cool, but then you have the regular guitar cases to put somewhere. It's complicated. A natural disaster could wipe out the world.

I am afraid of stands also. Although it's cumbersome, a hard case is the only protection.

I think the vintage style Chinese Zither would be a great thing for Gibson to release at rock bottom prices. I see one on ebay for $78,000. Also the Zither domain is for sale https://www.ok787ok.com/funiuwanqiu/2018/825/01.jpg

Guitars made of compressed sawdust and tin are the latest thing. They have a real cha-ching when you play them... Oh well I just wouldn't buy one. Japanese craftsman are another story. Just kidding.

Chibson Gold Top Rivals the Real Thing?

No matter how you look at it a Tokai is still copying the Les Paul and at a cheaper price. My opinion is it is bad trademark enforcement and opportunism by USA entrepreneurs in the first place. I used to have a Hondo Doubleneck Pro 12/6 string. It was trying to copy the Danelectro., although...

    Microdoses of LSD

Some warnings. Never mix LSD with other street drugs or alcohol--not even pot--it ruins it. It is dangerous to many and wastes your time, making you susceptible to various neurotransmitter problems. Certain pharmaceuticals + LSD --absolutely not! If you have mental issues, don't use it...
