Guys, we've spent considerable money converting the Les Paul Forum to this new XenForo platform, and we have ongoing monthly operating expenses. THE "DONATIONS" TAB IS NOW WORKING, AND WE WOULD APPRECIATE ANY DONATIONS YOU CAN MAKE TO KEEP THE LES PAUL FORUM GOING! Thank you!
Do you have a pic of Bad Betty on here? I'd love to see her.
Paradox Burst.. Too Good!! Great Name.
It does play so good. I use a Dr Z maz 38 . Sometimes a little push from a Tube Screamer. I'm obsessed

Hey.
If this was possibly a Deluxe with mini Humbuckers.
Wouldn't there be screw holes where the Mounting braket used to be?
or was there other ways to fasten down the pickup?
I'm not against checking under the control plate.
My Amp just packed in in... waiting for tubes..now would be a good...
Thanks for taking another look you guys !
I would have put a lot more effort into my first post if I had of known what a can of worms I was opening
As far as I know the tone pots are 137-79-0? and the volumes 1 is 137-81-28
And the other is obstructed . I thought '79 and '81

Hey There.
I definitely think this might be taking me into "beating a dead horse" territory.
It seems like my crappy basement pictures with bad angles and bad lighting didn't help.
If you don't mind checking them out I've taken pictures in proper lighting "lots of them".
I'm certainly not...
Thanks Big Al.
Oh i have the GAS that's for sure.
Perplexing is a good description for this guitar.
I appreciate your honesty and experience. I wasn't butthurt about anything
You said. I was looking for honest opinions.
I did enough homework to know it wasn't really a reissue. Everything...

Part of this answer might make me sound like a weirdo. But that's ok.
I did do loads of...

I'm more than happy with it. It sounds great ! Stays in tune . Intonation is good .
I haven't weighed it. But it's more than a 2015 Trad...
Thanks a lot for checking this out.
I'll send one more set of pics. Included are
Some from original ad and write-up.
Some you've seen already.
The headstock is maybe 1/2 inch wider than
A 1999 standard . With less of a break angle .
Either way I'm just going to play the crap out of it...

Thanks for your responce Big Al.
I trust your experience 100%
I knew the seller was full of it about the reissue. But for $3800 I was willing to gamble that the rest of it was okay.
I was hoping it might be a cobbled together employee guitar or something like that.
With the 1979...
