• Guys, we've spent considerable money converting the Les Paul Forum to this new XenForo platform, and we have ongoing monthly operating expenses. THE "DONATIONS" TAB IS NOW WORKING, AND WE WOULD APPRECIATE ANY DONATIONS YOU CAN MAKE TO KEEP THE LES PAUL FORUM GOING! Thank you!

Are the 2014 R9's really all that?

Greetings - I've got a little $$$ coming my way; my 20yo daughter wrecked my (first real performance) car, a 2007 Audi A3 S-line that I absolutely loved. I want to purchase a guitar to remind me of that great little car. She's ok, by the way. I've heard so much about the 2014 R9's (and R8's)...

Fading the binding on my R4 Custom...suggestions needed

Greetings My R4 Custom looks too new, I prefer the faded look of my R7 which apparently had a lot of stage use. Other than leaving it out in the direct sunlight, any suggestions? Thanks. If I had a side by side it would be much more apparent.

    (legit) Hypothetical question...'burst values...

Greetings - I've got a hypothetical question regarding the value of 'bursts in the coming decades. Yes, we've seen the values increase through the years but what's going to happen when our hero's fade away....and we follow....I don't really see the younger generation of musicians embracing the...

    Any Cunetto Relic owners?

Hi - new poster here - any Cunetto Relic owners here? I've been buying them since '97; I noticed the difference when Fender moved the operation in house and I quit buying the new relics, I was always on the lookout for the ones with the "branded" logo on the headstock. I was chatting up one of...
