• Guys, we've spent considerable money converting the Les Paul Forum to this new XenForo platform, and we have ongoing monthly operating expenses. THE "DONATIONS" TAB IS NOW WORKING, AND WE WOULD APPRECIATE ANY DONATIONS YOU CAN MAKE TO KEEP THE LES PAUL FORUM GOING! Thank you!

Its beautiful....... Please don't get me wrong... I love it...But the Custom Shop has changed the color. That blue looks completely different from the Candy Apple Blue LPs they have been selling for the last 2 years. Several dealers have these new guitars with this new Candy Apple Blue and to me it looks like the regular blue they used to use. The Candy Apple Blue has a green tint to it.

Here is mine from about 1 year ago:

Interesting. Ours definitely has no green to it. It's VERY cool! Thanks, for sharing!

The first time I ever saw this color was on the Joe B Les Paul Customs back around 2008. Then it started to appear last year with a $700 up-charge for the color.

Here is the original LP. This is the color that was always Candy Apple Blue until last month when this Trans Blue color became Candy Apple Blue... Gotta Love the Custom Shop lol

It's fantastic and if I was on the hunt for a modern LP that's the kind of thing I would get! :dude:
