• Guys, we've spent considerable money converting the Les Paul Forum to this new XenForo platform, and we have ongoing monthly operating expenses. THE "DONATIONS" TAB IS NOW WORKING, AND WE WOULD APPRECIATE ANY DONATIONS YOU CAN MAKE TO KEEP THE LES PAUL FORUM GOING! Thank you!

That one was discussed in the Baywatch area in the past week or 2. The verdict was 'questionable' I believe. :)

Edit; has anyone got video they can post of a gig he did for the BBC Rock goes to College series around 1976-77, around the time the Zaragon album came out? I used to have a crappy cassette taped off the telly but lost it. His playing was awesome. He is a highly underrated player and songwriter and toured for some time with Tina Turner. I saw him live back in the 80s and was blown away.

What's the serial number? :wah

Tom, it's 9 3182, I think. If I've got a couple of numbers around the wrong way, it's definitely the same S/N as the ex-Richards 'burst that was/is for sale a while ago. The seller had a serial number shot up for the first day or two of the first time it was on ebay.

That could be an interesting can of worms. The same number as a refin/restored serial number on a famous Burst. :ganz

Not really. I don't believe either of those guitars bears the original number. Maybe there's another one out there!

I remember looking on Burstserial to check it out, it was almost the last '59 serial number listed. I emailed the seller at the time drawing his attention to the anomoly. I got the "I'm no expert" response.......FWIW
