Nice and thank you. I am assuming it is Lifton from the interior color. I have never seen a 52 Geib Les Paul case with that color of interior. From the info I have gathered over the years 1952 was the only year brown Geib cases were offered by Gibson as their faultless Les Paul case. Would you be willing to check the neck rest for the Lifton sticker or under the compartment door for the Geib emblem? I have been planning to do an in depth thread for Gibson faultless cases from the 1910's to 1960's and every little bit of info helps. Early 50's Lifton LG case pictured below with same interior color.

One thing you can derive from guitars with indents from cowboy chords or the like is that someone who didn't like to cut their fingernails often owned that guitar at some point. For the most part you can also derive their style of play.
