Just held them as I wasn't trying to purchase any of them. The 1st was at Lloyd's shop in Hollywood in the late 80s or early 90s. (I can't remember the name his store, it was near GC on Gardner). The 2nd Mike Indelicato (sorry if I spelled it wrong), he ran E-Guitars and is a friend of a friend. The third was JB's. He had it at a LA show and had bought a friend of mine's Firebird V and we asked to look at his Flying V which he had on display and he let us.Held? Not inspected internally?

I just watch this vid (and never knew of the guitars history) and wondered why Rudy said âwe donât know how many they made?â and Mark replies .. âwe know how many we shippedâ .. surely this is an indication of how many were madethis guitar
its a good idea but its not always 1:1 ....... gibson made stuff that surely went unaccounted for in shipping ledgers. prototypes, after the fact "parts bin" builds, in house stuff employees made for themself or family friends ect. there are lots of weirdo gibson and probably some pretty "stock" examples that fall outside the perview of the shipping logsI just watch this vid (and never knew of the guitars history) and wondered why Rudy said âwe donât know how many they made?â and Mark replies .. âwe know how many we shippedâ .. surely this is an indication of how many were made
