• Guys, we've spent considerable money converting the Les Paul Forum to this new XenForo platform, and we have ongoing monthly operating expenses. THE "DONATIONS" TAB IS NOW WORKING, AND WE WOULD APPRECIATE ANY DONATIONS YOU CAN MAKE TO KEEP THE LES PAUL FORUM GOING! Thank you!

Nice geetar, but...
ONE picture and NO mention of the condition/originality of the instrument?
Really? I mean, these things do matter a LOT more (to me) than the celebrity provenance, in this case at least.
But maybe I'm alone with this view of things.. hmm.

Hi Sweiger Some more pictures for you. Plus excerpts from a report conducted on the guitar:
"The guitar appears to be 100% original. All the solder joints in the control cavity are untouched and as is from the factory.
Bridge pickup with selector switch down reads 7.60 Ohms, Neck pickup switch all the way up reads 7.81 Ohm’s - “perfect" readings one would want to see for a PAF pickup from 1958 era.
The inside of the control cavity shows the wiring interacted and untouched. Volume and Tone pots are stiff and will need cleaning but should function fine after that. Neck is straight and the truss rod has adjustment in both directions. With a cleaning, new strings and a good set up the guitar should play fine. This guitar also has the original low in height “ Fretless Wonder” frets which are original. A black light over the whole guitar shows no sign of a hidden repair or any other anomalies."
