Don't know what you guys are getting so worked up about, it's only a five string.
Vivid red suggesting a guitar that didn't see a ton of daylight, but a re-fret and stop tail/bridge wear suggesting the opposite (?).

It is from the era of the non-fading red.
Seriously? 1960 lacquer/dye different than '58, '59? 'Never knew this -
I played this when I was down there for my birthday at the end of the January. Shop owner was very nice.
-Cali girl case in decent shape
-thinner but rounded neck, extremely vibrant
-on the heavy side, easily over nine pounds
-amazing ruby red color
