• Guys, we've spent considerable money converting the Les Paul Forum to this new XenForo platform, and we have ongoing monthly operating expenses. THE "DONATIONS" TAB IS NOW WORKING, AND WE WOULD APPRECIATE ANY DONATIONS YOU CAN MAKE TO KEEP THE LES PAUL FORUM GOING! Thank you!

At the time of the Dallas show, earlier this month?

He went over Saturday to see Steve and got it then. Not sure if he had seen it before, as we didn’t talk about that. A few minor things not 100%, JB can elaborate on that if he wishes. But it is a killer finish. Can’t wait to see CDs pics. :salude

This is a video at IVG when tried it at low volume (when it sounds OK... at this volume, I know it'll sound GRRRRRRRRREAT on a cranked amp and even greater in Joe's hands)

I love just fooling around "regular" riff on a upside down stringed guitar; sounds "prog" this way, but it's in fact a "normal" riff on a guit southpaw strung !

What an interesting turn of events Gaston, from your first post to Joe buying it.
I hope a lot of people read the whole thread.

Cool indeed Tom !

Now, it would be a dream to try it again, but in Joe's amps !

Are there any fun guitar stores in New Orleans that are currently open, preferably near the French Quarter or Garden District? I tried to google it and several appear to be closed for business right now.

Hi @robert4johnson- Although it's a litle ways out from the Quarter and Garden District,
there's a pawn shop that's pretty fun to visit for guitars on Airline Drive, "Airline Jewelry and Loan" (3615 Airline, Metairie 70001). I've been in there 3 times in past two years, and played a lot of the same guitars off the wall each time. The owner is friendly and has cool stories about growing up in UK and playing music back in the day. He says he had a burst decades ago, but long-sold I believe. Last time I was there, over the summer, he still had a rare Gibson Brazilian rosewood Crest (pretty rare oportunity to play one of these, IME),, a white '60s Baldwin Burns solidbody with "wild dog" tone option, '50s-'60s Epi and Guild electric hollowbodies, '60s Vox guitar, some '60s Fenders, Mosrites.
