I found a 2018 Firebird Studio. These are set neck guitars instead of neck through body, has P90s instead of FB pickups, no neck binding, dots instead of fretboard inlays and a non reverse headstock.

Mine weighs 7.02 lbs. so is super comfortable to play. Hangs great on a strap when played standing up and no neck dive. It's a resonant guitar and sounds great plugged in too. The neck is fast and smooth.

For some reason, I'm very intrigued with these guitars lately. Such a different look. But on my meger budget it would have to be one of the newer Epiphone Inspired by Gibson models. Would love to try one some day just to see.

A friend of mine raved about the Epi Bonamassa models. He and his son both picked them up.

Epiphone does make some darn good things! I have a 2019 SG Pro that I bought in that year and man, it stays in tune great and the neck is rock solid. Right from moment one I was amazed at how well it played with no fret/string buzz anywhere. No setup needed!

For $400.00 at the time I was sold! I play it all the time!
